I am ranking the teams this year as follows:
RB’s will be scored out of 10 points (most important)
QB’s will be scored out of 9 Points
Defenses will be scored out of 9 Points
WR’s will be scored out of 8 Points
TE’s will be scored out of 5 Points
Bench will scored out of 3 Points (Least important)
Out of 44
Ship It:
QB’s: Vince Young, Jay Cutler
Vince Young played 15 games last year, but managed to rack up 19 total touchdowns with 13 interceptions. He is more of a threat on the ground than he is with the pass but I expect him to improve as a passer. I think he has a monstrous upside and could really have a great year.
Cutler showed last year a lot of maturity for a first year QB. He had 9 touchdowns with only 5 interceptions in 5 games last season. Denver added Travis Henry to provide a solid running game and Mike Shanahan always makes his offenses successful it seems like. I like Cutler too.
While both QB’s are very young and inexperienced both are in systems where I can see them succeeding. There will be lots of mistakes I am sure, but I am also sure there will be a lot of production out of these two…
7/9
WR’s: Chad Johnson, Hines Ward, Plaxico Burress
Chad Johnson was my number one ranked receiver coming into this season. Even though he had 1300 yards receiving last year I felt like he could have had a much better year. The Bengals were underachieving and I never really felt like they were playing their best football all season. This year I expect them to get going and Chad to become the number one receiver in the league this season.
Hines Ward sure did fall down a lot of draft boards this season. But apparently he didn’t fall down Dave’s draft board because he selected him before the likes of Andre Johnson, Javon Walker, and Lee Evans, all of which I had ranked higher. If Hines can stay out of the trainer’s room this season he could have a big bounce back year (He caught 5 less touchdowns last year than from the previous year).
Plaxico Burress is another bad-boy receiver. While he had 10 touchdowns last season and just fewer than 1,000 receiving yards, I think the bigger message he sent last year was that he plays when he wants to play. Constantly quitting on plays and just being a jackass on the field I could see him getting in trouble with the Giants this season. If he stays out of trouble and does his job he should have another good year though.
Three very solid receivers, one who constantly plays hurt, and one who is always being a douche, they are all very capable….
8/8
RB’s: Rudi Johnson, Reggie Bush
Rudi Johnson really looks to me like he is running out of gas. After 1400 yards in 2004 and 2005 he dropped to 1300 yards rushing last year. He isn’t a threat out of the backfield at all and only gives you what he rushes for, which is a pretty big dagger in our league where receptions count as points for running backs as well. I think he will be solid, but nothing amazing.
Here is a perfect example of why Rudi Johnson isn’t really that good. Reggie Bush had more fantasy points than Rudi did last year and he only rushed for 565 yards! I hate the fact that he splits time, but I know deep down he will get just as many touches as most other running backs. He catches so many passes out of the backfield it’s almost like a handoff. Expect another fun-to-watch year out of Reggie, with lots of fantasy production I am sure.
8/10
TE: Jason Witten
Sure hands, Jason Witten is looking for a bounce back season this year after only one touchdown in 2006. I am sure he will be just fine as Romo should only improve as a passer.
3/5
Defenses: Denver, Minnesota
I really think Denver was a great pick this year. With the addition of Dre Bly I really see this defense being pretty much unstoppable in the passing game.
Minnesota is another top 10 defense in my opinion and should have a good year despite their defensive coordinator being shipped to Pittsburgh. They will be productive.
Two top 10 defenses, but both from the latter part of the top 10 so I cant give a perfect score…..
8/9
Bench: Braylon Edwards, Ahman Green, Trent Green, Betts, Hackett, Dunn
This bench is downright stacked
3/3
I didn’t think Dave’s team was this good, but upon further review….
OVERALL SCORE: 37/44….. 84%

Don't sleep on Hinesy, Steelers going to open it up more this year. But.. had I known I'd get Cutler as a QB, Walker would have been the pick. Original plan was to get Big Ben right after Hines in round 6 but he was taken before then.
