Salt Peter Milkshake

I am ranking the teams this year as follows:
RB’s will be scored out of 10 points (most important)
QB’s will be scored out of 9 Points
Defenses will be scored out of 9 Points
WR’s will be scored out of 8 Points
TE’s will be scored out of 5 Points
Bench will scored out of 3 Points (Least important)
Out of 44

Salt Peter Milkshake

QB’s: Matt Leinart, Alex Smith

I think Leinart grew a lot in the 12 starts he had last year. Hopefully he will be able to read defenses a bit better than he did last year when he had more interceptions than touchdown passes. I think he will do alright just because he has two of the best receivers in the NFL to throw to.

Alex Smith showed a lot of improvement throughout the course of last season. He threw as many TD’s as he did interceptions last year, but I expect him to have a better year this year with an established running back taking a lot of the load off his young arm.
Both are young quarterbacks that will make a lot of mistakes, but I expect both to have better years than they did last year. Two decent QB’s….

6/9

WR’s: Terrell Owens, Andre Johnson, Reggie Brown

Terrell Owens led the NFL last year in touchdown receptions, but it’s not like he had a ton, with 13. He also led the league in dropped passes. Owens is a donkey and I think it was a stupid pick by Jamie.

Andre Johnson is the only weapon the Texans had last season and he owned. In a league where 2 receptions are a point he has added value because he caught more than 100 balls last season. I expect him to have more TD’s this season with a better QB throwing him the ball.

Reggie Brown had 8 TD’s last season and more than 800 yards receiving. I thought he should have had a better year, but he didn’t really step up to his full potential last year. He is coming into his third year and I expect him to break out this year if McNabb stays healthy.

Awesome receiving core…

8/8

RB’s: Joseph Addai, Laurence Maroney

Addai had a great rookie campaign last season and I expect to see him put up similar numbers this season. Even though this is a pass happy offense Addai will manage to find the endzone around 10 times this year.

Maroney looked good when he got the ball last year. He split time with Dillon, but that won’t be a problem anymore. With Maroney getting the bulk of the carries I expect a huge year out of him. He is a Steven Jackson type runner, should be fun to watch.

9/10

TE: Antonio Gates

Nothing needs to be said

5/5

Defenses: Green Bay, Kansas City

Fucking terrible
4/9

Bench: Samie Parker, Schaub, Caddy

Not a bad bench

2/3

OVERALL SCORE: 34/44….. 77%
